Sam Bradford's exploits as a Sooner include leading Oklahoma to the 2009 BCS Championship game, being the second sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy and holding the record for most touchdowns by a freshman quarterback (36). Though initially overlooked in favor of other, higher-ranked quarterbacks, Oklahoma knew they had something special in Bradford and started him in their 2007 season. During his time as a Sooner, Bradford passed for 88 touchdowns and 8,404 yards. It's little surprise that Bradford was selected as the first overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
