After his 2009 season playing as a starter at cornerback for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and ending with five interceptions, 11-pass-breakups and two sacks, Prince Amukamara was named to the first-team All-Big 12. During the following year as a senior, he tallied 59 tackles, one sack, 18 completed passes and was constantly praised for his "lock-down ability" against wide receivers; his perfomance earned him the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year award. When it came time for the scouting service to rank Amukamara, he was given a 7.3 rating, which was one of the highest among almost 1,500 graded seniors. Finally, on April 29, 2011, he was selected 19th by the New York Giants in the 2011 NFL Draft. Prince Amukamara has hand-signed this 8" x 10" photo of himself during his former Nebraska years.
